Chaudhry Mohammad Ali Randhawa has been appointed the new Secretary of Excise & Taxation, Z&U & Coptive Dept GB

GILGIT: Chaudhry Mohammad Ali Randhawa has been appointed the new Secretary of Excise & Taxation, Z&U & Cooperative Dept GB.

In pursuance of the notification issued by the GB government, Chaudhry Mohammad Ali Randhawa has assumed his charge.

He has vowed to serve people honestly.

Previously Mr Randhawa has served in various districts of Punjab as DC, additional coordination officer revenue, finance and planning and general.

Ex Secretary Mr Tariq Hussain has been transfered to LG&RD Dept GB.

Farewell Party to Ex-Secretary Excise & Taxation GB Mr.Babar Aman Babar at Excise Complex Jutial Gilgit.

Gilgit: A farewell party was arranged in honor of Ex- Secretary Excise & Taxation GB, Mr Babar Aman Babar here at Excise Complex Jutial Gilgit.

Secretary E&T GB Mr Tariq Hussain & Deputy Director Mr Abubakar Siddique Khan and other officials of Excise & Taxation Department were present at the occasion.

Brief speeches were delivered by Ex Secretary Mr Babar Aaman Babar, Current Secretary E&T GB Mr Tariq Hussain & Deputy Director Mr Abubkar S Khan, to and thanks for mutual cooperation and support during his tenure at Excise Department Gilgit Baltistan and Excise Officials Wish Him Best of Luck for his future endeavors .

Gilgit: Motor Show Room Sealed, Tempered V8 Vehicle impounded

Gilgit: Excise & Taxation Field Staff raided a local show room named “Sunrise Motor’s” on reports of having tempered vehicles. During the search operation, founded a tempered V8 Vehicle. The Inspector In-charge Mr Imran Wali & Sub-Inspector Mr Ilyas Ali Khan along with other field staff, have sealed the show room and impounded vehicle under the GB Seizure and Disposal Rules 2017.

According to ETO Gilgit Mr Moazzam Ali, further investigation is in progress and strict measures are being taken on the order’s of higher authorities against illegal and tempered vehicles across Gilgit Baltistan.

Farewell Party In Honor Of Miss Samina Akber, Assist Network Admin

Gilgit: The IT Staff of Excise & Taxation Department  here on Wednesday arranged a farewell party in honor of the outgoing Assistant Network Administrator, Miss Samina Akber, upon her new appointment in Gilgit Batlistan Supreem Appellate Court as Deputy Director IT (BS-18).

Secretary Excise & Taxation Mr Tariq Hussain, Deputy Director Mr Abubakar Saddique Khan, Manager MIS Mr Zubair Ahmed, AD MIS Mr Ubaidullah, Web Developer Mr Syed Tassawur Mehdi, ETO Admin Raja Mirbaz Khan and other high ranking officers attended the ceremony.

On the occasion, the Secretary E&T Mr Tariq Hussain & Deputy Director Mr Abubakar Saddique Khan  expressed the best wishes for the outgoing officer and paid tributes for her services for the department.

They further said, officers should work hard to provide the best services to the public besides showing their professional skills.

Awarness Walk, in connection with World Anti Narcotic’s Day 2018

Gilgit: 26 June World Anti Narcotic’s Day 2018, in this connection, Excise & Taxation Department Gilgit Baltistan jointly organized an awareness walk with Anti Narcotic’s Force Pakistan here at Gilgit City, the Captial of Gilgit Baltistan. Large number of people, students  including  the official’s of E&T and ANF took part in this awareness walk. Provinicial Minister Exicse & Taxation, Mr Haider Khan, Deputy Secretary Mr Irshad Hussain & Deputy Director E&T Mr Abubakar Siddique Khan were prominent among speakers.

Crackdown against illegal/tempered vehicles & fancy no plate’s continues across GB

GILGIT: On special directive’s of Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan Mr Babar Hayat Tarrar, Excise & Taxation Department Gilgit Baltistan has launched a crack down movement against illegal/tempered vehicles & fancy no plate’s  across GB. Regular road beats are being conducted by field staff of E&T and vehicles found violating rules are fined and those having fake registration marks and tempered chassis are confiscated as per Gilgit Baltistan Seizure and Disposal Rules 2018.
