It is the mandate of Excise and Taxation department to collect tax of provenance. No other tax except token tax is being managed and collected by Excise and Taxation department. Now the government of GB plans to introduce very basic tax which will also be the responsibility of Excise and Taxation Department to collect and all provincial tax levied from time to time.
